Relaxing at the beach will be in full swing the next few weeks, and what better to round out your beach bag than a good old book.

Look for Sue Grafton, author of a series of tales starring Kinsey Millhone a rough and tumble female private detective. Now don’t read this if you’re looking to get away into dreamland, Kinsey’s life resembles reality....she has bad luck in relationships, doesn’t have alot of extra cash, etc.  However Kinsey has alot of attitude and is willing to go over the line to solve a case.

This series starts out with A is for Alibi, and the reader is introduced to a supporting cast of characters who show up in following books (subsequent books are alphabetical).  However, not to worry if you pick a later book in the series, you don’t need to read these books in order.

So tuck one of these in by your suntan lotion, and try one for an easy read!
