If you are looking for an old Western romance and a quick read, The Looking Glass is the one for you.  Set back in the days of the untamed frontier the unlikely love story between Quaye and Hunter develops.  Quaye endures a horrible home life with a husband that defines the word horrible.  Hunter is running from his controlled past in Pennsylvania to what is the Wild Wild West.  Evans has written a couple other books worth reading, most famous is The Christmas Box.
